Born in 1970, in Oak Park, Michigan, Kristina karamo is an American teacher and politician. She is the current chairperson of the Michigan Republican Party and a teacher at Wayne County Community College.



Education

Kristina Karamo studied at Oakland University in Michigan, where she graduated with a B.A. in communications. She then went on to study Christian Apologetics, for which she obtained a Masters degree at Biola University's Talbot School of Theology. 


Career

Kristina Karamo became a popular figure after appearing multiple times on news programs like "Let It Rip On," "Fox & Friends," "Lou Dobbs Tonight," and "The Shean Hannity Show," all on Fox-2 Detroit. 

In 2018, Kristina Karamo ran for the position of commissioner in Oakland County but was unsuccessful, and in 2022, she was nominated by the Michigan Republican Party to run in the Secretary of State Election in Michigan, an election she later lost to Jocelyn Benson by 14 percentage points. 


In 2023, Kristina Karamo was elected as the leader of the Michigan Republican Party. She currently teaches at Wayne County Community College.
