Sisi Quadri Early Life, Background and Education
Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, was born on December 25, 1979, in Iwo Town, Osun State. He was raised in an Islamic home and had to study Arabic and the Qu’ran because his father wanted him to become an Alfa (a muslim cleric).
Although not much is known about Sisi Quadri's educational background, it is at least known that he acquired basic and secondary education in Ore, Ondo State, where he grew up. He also furthered his education at The Polytechnic Iree, although his course of study is not known.
Sisi Quadri Career
Sisi Quadri started his career in the fashion design industry in 1996 by learning how to design clothes. He concluded his learning process in 1999 and decided to venture into acting the following year after his father's elder brother introduced him to Toyin Olaiya (Alaga council), a man who later became his mentor and lecturer.
After his introduction to acting, Sisi Quadri met the late Hameeda Shakeem who immediately took interest in him and made him a part of her team of actors. As an actor, he initially featured as an extra in films, appearing in one or two scenes, until in 2004 when he had his big break in the film industry.
Sisi Quadri rose to stardom after he featured in a movie titled “Seranko Seniyan.” The movie, which was released in December 2004, was a big hit which showcased Quadri's excellent acting skills and staked his claim as one of the best in the business. His role in the movie also earned him the nickname “Sisi Quadri” because of his style of talking and acting like a woman.
Other popular films Sisi Quadri appeared in over the course of his acting career include “Omo Iya Oko,” “Iya Oko Mi,” “Aje Ni Eegun,” and “Ebudola.”
