DJ Splash is a Nigerian Disk Jockey formerly signed as the in-house DJ of Marlian Music Imprint, Naira Marley's record label. He is currently trending after his interview with popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, on which he stated how was treated badly by the record label boss.
DJ Splash Biography
Aderoju Matthew, popularly known as DJ Splash, was born and raised in Ikotun, Lagos, Nigeria.
After emerging as the winner of the DJ Consequence's competition in 2020, he gained recognition and started making connections with people in the Nigerian music industry, one of which was Naira Marley. In a bid to help DJ Splash, Naira Marley signed him to Naira Music Imprint to become their in-house DJ.
Despite being the in-house of the record label, DJ Splash wasn't making enough money to fend for both himself and his family as majority of his earnings were spent on food. This led to him requesting from Naira Marley to switch from being the record label's DJ to being an artiste, a move the record label was not pleased with.
It appears the request by DJ Splash didn't go down well with Naira Marley, which led to the record label boss making plans to make him go mad and poison him. Ever since then, DJ Splash has been suffering from mental health illness and is yet to recover from it.
