Small Baddo Early Life and Education

Olamilekan Babatunde Moses, popularly known as Small Baddo, was born on March 23, 2002, in Ogun State, Nigeria. Growing up with his parents and siblings in his hometown, Sango, he developed interest in music and decided to pursue it as a career when the time was right. 


Although not much is known about Small Baddo's education, it is at least known that he attended Sango High School, a secondary school in Ogun State. 




Small Baddo Career

Small Baddo started his career as a professional dancer, thanks to his love and strong passion for music at an early age. As a dancer, he participated in competitions and performed in shows and events. 


After starting the early part of his career as a dancer, Small Baddo decided to go into music fully in 2012. His approach to music involves penning down his lyrics in his native yourba language and delivering them as a classic over any instrumental or music beat he comes across. 


Overtime, Small Baddo's commitment to music and the hard work he was putting into it started to pay off. He became the talk of the town and started getting opportunities to perform in Nigerian higher institutions and at music shows. 


After releasing “Gonna” in 2019 which didn't become popular, Small Baddo received encouragement from his friend and decided to release a single titled “For My Arena” in 2020. The song became and instant hit and received widespread acclaim from music enthusiasts and critics in the Nigerian music industry. It also opened more doors for him to perform at shows and events. 


“For My Arena” became so popular that it was made a street anthem. This caught the attention of Idowest, a popular street rapper, who decided to jump on the song and contribute a verse. 


Since making waves with the hit song “For My Arena,” Small Baddo has since gone on to release other popular songs like “Giran to Niran” on which he featured Zlatan, and “Sare Wotor Wotor” on which he featured Portable.
