Kate Henshaw Blasts Certain Nigerians Ahead Of President Election

Popular Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, has come out to condemn people who plan to vote for a particular party that has failed in government in past years.

According to the 50-year old veteran actress, those who reinforce failure in government do so because of the gains they get monetarily. She also went on to say that the forthcoming 2023 presidential election is for the unborn generation as well as the soul of the country, and that no one in their right mind would want to vote in a government that has previously failed in every way. 

She tweeted:

No sane person reinforces failure, but there are some of you because of pecuniary gains, your eyes blinded and you have elongated your necks like that of a giraffe. This election is for the soul of this Nation and future generations.

Meanwhile, Kate Henshaw, while recently addressing the continuous fuel crisis, described Nigeria as a "shame" as a result of the inability of its government to refine crude oil. The actress lamented the lack of a functioning refinery in the country and blames the president who also happens to be the minister of petroleum.

To me, it’s a complete shame. It’s evil on the part of the government (both past and current) that we cannot boast of refining our product, Mrs. Henshaw said.

It does not make sense that we do not have a functioning refinery in Nigeria. This is a huge indictment on the president who also doubles as the Minister of petroleum," she added.
